If you've traveled up Spring Street lately in front of The Bread Basket Bakery, you may have noticed the orange construction fencing or the newly poured cement in the front of the building.
I was there yesterday and had a great breakfast sandwich. Of course is there anything that isn't great at the Bread Basket? I was told the addition will have a freezer in the basement portion of it as well as a patio on the ground level, with a planned completion later this summer. It's good to see local businesses expanding during these difficult economic times and I wish them the best of luck and I will be there to support them, one pastry at a time.
I am so glad to see they are expanding. Business must be good! I'll have to stop for a cupcake after the farmer's market tomorrow to show my support. :)
