How did I miss this one? Kool and the Gang is coming to Vapor Nightclub at Saratoga Gaming and Raceway on April 1st. Can I oveuse the incorrect spelling of the word "cool" enough? Nope! It's Kool!
I love Kool and the Gang - they just had fun songs when I was growing up and they always put me in an upbeat mood. Think about some of their hits - Ladies Night, Celebration, Get Down on it, Fresh, Cherish, Misled, and don't forget one of their earlier "deep funk" hits, Jungle Boogie, which made it to the fantastic soundtrack of the movie Pulp Fiction.
Unless you are a diehard fan of Comedy Central's The Daily Show like I am, you may have missed this skit from 2007, which has a hilarious reference to Kool and the Gang. Take four minutes and watch this and you will laugh out loud.
