I don't know if I have been busy in my previous four Aprils in the Spa City, or if perhaps the weather hasn't cooperated like it has this week, but today I really noticed how beautiful and full the various cherry and other blossomed trees are in Saratoga. Get out and take a walk or a drive, depending on your location, before the rain, wind, and passing of time quickly take away these exquisite displays by Mother Nature.
One of the best areas for viewing these trees in full white bloom are on the Empire State College grounds on Union Avenue between Circular and Regent Streets, shown above. Some other good places (below) are Court Street near Spring, Regent near Spring, Spring near the Bread Basket Bakery, Henry Street near the Library and the new 54 Phila condos, Putnam Street in front of the Library, and finally of course various locations in Congress Park. Get out and enjoy the show!
