I caught this report yesterday from the AP with the headline "Report Finds Horse Racing is on a Slippery Track". It was interesting, if not exactly uplifting. It was carried by several news organizations around the country, and it listed Saratoga Springs as the location for the report.

The local spin has re-wrote it as a Happy-Dance story with MAXIMUM VLT cheerleading and MINIMUM LASIX sickness. Reality and a pre-planned appropriate RESPONSE are far superior to after-the-fact PANIC...
