Thanks to the You Idiot blog for telling us about the fish market coming to what I call "Protein Plaza", you know, the Wilton strip mall with Five guys, Chipotle, Hattie's Chicken Shack, and The Meat House. This is fantastic news! The Putnam market does a good job of offering quality fish, but they can only offer a limited amount and I've been hoping for a good fish market in this area since I moved here. The Bon Ton Fish Market looks like a top-notch place, and with the only other location in being in upscale Greenwich Connecticut, I guess it would have to be. From the Bon Ton's web site:
I’m Tony Norado the third Bon Ton owner in one hundred seven years!
While you sleep I’m at Fulton Fish Market picking the Freshest whole fish for filleting to order from Bon Ton.

This fish market is the bomb, they have the best shrimp and crab that I have ever had. Also, the sauces they sell to accompany them are outstanding. This will be a great addition to our area!

Hopefully they adjust the prices to reflect upstate NY incomes, rather than Greenwich, CT. Love that shopping plaza, but would love to see some fresh blood downtown too. Going to be a long winter.

Well said Rob.

Once the Meat House opened, I stopped buying my steaks at price chopper. Now I'm sure it will be the same for my seafood purchases.
Probably worth the little extra money. The Wilton Price Chopper sucks anyways so I hope this forces them to upgrade the store.

Very delightful sea foods. I love to eat all of that.
